Energetic Hygiene is great for everyone. Especially those that are more sensitive, healers, empaths, psychics or shamans. It is something that isn’t often talked about but it has a profound effect on the state of the individual.
Taking a physical shower works to keep you clean. You have your differnts soaps and cleansers to cleanse any dirt, and grime from the skin and/or face, to re-fresh yourself. It’s a part of everyday life. We wash our hands, use hand sanitizers and mouthwash. To keep us feeling fresh and yet we ignore the auric field, the invisible electromanetic field that surrounds the body. This is also a part of our system. When it is compromised or filled with debris it can begin to effect us in our everyday lives.
Begin to pay attention to the aura. It’s like giving yourself an energy shower. I usually get a tupperware container filled with baking soda and put it in the shower with me. I put a handfull in my hands, wet it a bit spread it from my head down to my feet. I can feel it instantly lift of any energetic debris that is in my auric field. Think of it as clearing the psychic dirt. I remember, the first time I did it. I slept amazing that night and woke up totally refreshed. It literally felt like a weight had lifted off of me.
Now as I said, anyone can do this. If you are a healer, massage therapists, psychic, mystic etc. This will benefit you immensly and I suggest even using the baking soda on your hands up to your elbow after you work on a client.

Simple techniques that can be used daily to cleanse your auric field. What We know that baking soda a.k.a. Sodium Bicarbonate can be used for a variety of things. I’ve used baking soda for years. I use it every evening once I’ve gotten home and sometimes on days when I really feel like there’s been a bit of heaviness that particular day.
There’s a variey of baking sodas out there and I suggest buying the one that’s aluminum free for the purity.

Cleansing the Aura

Throughout each day, our aura comes into contact with people, places and things.  And as the day progresses we gradually pick up ‘pyschic dirt’.  This process is akin to working the entire day, accumulating physical dirt and coming home to take a shower.  What would happen if you never took a shower?  Treat your aura the same way.

I’ve found through my experience, working with clients and my daily psychic hygiene that there are many different ways to clear the aura.  Some are more effective than others, and it’s my goal here to provide you with what is the most effective.

Each of these techniques can be practiced daily or whenever you feel guided.  For those that are more sensitive (i.e. empaths, healers, psychics, shamans) there’s a responsibility to keep the aura free and clear of debris so that one does not get bogged down by all the”schmootz”. That is why cleansing the aura is of the utmost importance.

Sage

Each day when I wake up and when I get home.  I sage myself. This is my go to step for cleansing the aura. Sage has been traditionally used for clearing space, but it also works well for nullifying any unwanted energies in your energy field.  I suggest buying a sage spray as its the safest and works just as well as the smoke.

Salt Baths

I usually take 20 to 40 minutes in the evening or as you feel guided, using a 1/2 a pound to a pound of either epson salt, scented bath salt, or himalayan salt.  I’ve found that the salt really clears any unwanted energies off the aura.  If you’re pressed for time, don’t have a bath, or don’t like taking baths.  Try using the salt all over your body during a shower.

Tingsha Bells

Who would have thought that sound would work, but it does.  I love genuine tingsha bells(the fake one’s have a’tinny’ sound  to them).  In addition, real tingsha bells are made of seven different metals.  The bells help to re-align the chakras and at the same time creating waves of sound carrying out any disharmonious energy.

There are a plethora of ways to keep the aura free and clear of debris.  These are the few that I’ve found the most effective.  Try a combination of these techniques or one at a time and find what works best for you.

Remember, a clean aura is also refelected in the physical.  So treat all of you with love and care.

Newton and Einstein: Approaches to Healing

In western culture, a boom of alternative healing methods are being used in healing many forms of dis-ease.

Present-day medical views are deeply rooted in a Newtonian worldview, Allopathic Medicine. According to Dr. Richard Gerber(Author of Vibrational Medicine), “Doctors conceptualize the body as a type of grand machine which is controlled by the brain and peripheral nervous system:  the ultimate biological computer.” Newtonian way of thinking was first approached in the industrial revolution. Which happens to be over one hundred years old. Physicians in present day see the body as a complex machine.  In which the heart is a ‘mechanical pump’ that delivers blood and oxygen to the system. Today, doctors can replace, create, and synthesis the organs and systems of the body. Doctors have become the mechanics, and architects of our bodies.

But, is there a different approach to healing?

The Einsteinian paradigm is the opposite. Dr. Gerber states, “as applied to vibrational medicine sees human beings as networks of complex energy fields that interface with physical/cellular systems. Vibrational medicine uses specialized forms of energy to positively affect those energetic systems that may be out of balance due to disease states.” Einstien himself said that all matter is energy.  The theoretical perspective is that our subtle bodies or the aura are affected by our emotions, mental, and spiritual states. If there are imbalances, in any of these areas, it will then affect the physical body. Vibrational medicine strives to heal the illness using the subtle energy fields instead of ‘working on’ the physical body with medications and surgery(Newtonian Paridgym).

As the paradigm is shifting, it seems that both have a place in modern medicine as the efficacy of integrative medicine is being recognized around the world.
